Bianca is the Campaign Director of the Los Angeles office of Canvass for a Cause. Before this, she worked in leadership positions in other canvassing organizations in LA and became really disheartened that she was just a fundraiser, working hard to support the progressive movement financially but unable to contribute her organizing skills. She heard about CFAC through the grapevine and decided to check it out for herself.

She was thrilled at what she found: a self-sustaining nonprofit, small donor-funded, which doesn't just fundraise every day but actually pays and trains activists to do the amazing work we tell people about.

“The most important reason I believe I'm a good fit for this job?” Bianca says. “Because I'm passionate, and I believe in the work we're doing. I truly believe in the effectiveness of grassroots organizing and I believe in the model, that sustainable activism is the future of the progressive movement. This is the way to make change and it is important to be here, especially as a member of the LGBTQ community. I want to play an active role.”

Within the next five to ten years, Bianca would like to see the Employment Non-Discrimination Act pass and would like to see us progress the women's rights movement and protect a woman's right to choose.

She grew up in a very religious household and traveled to other countries as an evangelical Christian.
