Sam is Lead Assistant Canvass Director at Canvass for a Cause. She became involved with CFAC originally as a volunteer, coming to events and meetings like Knock 4 Equality. Then, I realized that she could actually get paid to do fabulous things like this.

"CFAC is a group that is actually doing things, working on projects to promote change, and we are taking direct action every week," says Sam. "This work we are doing is going to actually change the world. CFAC is going to do it."

Within the next five to ten years, she wants people to be considered equal, the Fair Education Act to be safe, and kids to learn about LGBT civil rights leaders. Equality is the main issue she is passionate about.

Something that might surprise people about Sam is that she was exclusively a preschool teacher and a nanny before coming to work at Canvass for a Cause.
